Sprained but not broken

After 4 hours of waiting in the emergency room at the local hospital, I’ve learned two things:

1. My wrist is sprained, not broken.

My sprained wrist

2. I’m glad I’m not sharing a room with the woman who yelled “Why, why, why” for about 4 hours straight. She was waiting to be admitted. And I’m sure I’m not the only one who hopes she has a health plan that provides for private room coverage.

I haven’t quite perfected my typing technique – after years of touch typing, being without the use of a few fingers takes some getting used to. While I was hoping to put up a post tonight all I’m going to be able to give are a few random thoughts.

3. When you slip on the stairs, try not to break your fall with your arm.

4. Tylenol 3s are good painkillers – but not so good when you want to blog. So that’s all for now.
